Configuring Your Chat

To start, name your chat and choose from a selection of basic settings, including chat window size and interactive features, to customize your chat according to your needs. Once created, your new chat will appear in the drop-down under "My Chats." You can easily change these settings at any time by clicking the pencil icon under the chat you wish to edit.

The Chat Experience

Moderator View

Before going live, user comments will appear in the moderator's chat panel. The moderator can approve, reject, or edit the post before it goes live.

User View

Once a user's comment has been approved by the moderator, it will appear in the general chat. On Ambrose's computer, he'll see his own message highlighted with a light blue background.

In-Chat Features

The moderator also has access to a variety of in-chat features and settings, located within the panel to the right of the chat box. It's easy to manage user settings, organize your messages with labels, create polls and quizzes, and more.
