your teeth start to form whilst you are growing in your mum's tummy. Then as you grow your teeth grown with you
Mariana

Why our teeth grow two times?
Dianne

your milk teeth fall out because your big adult grow as you grow. As the adult teeth get bigger your milk teeth get smaller and then fall out

What happens when you don’t brush your teeth?
Abe

Hello how many teeth do we have?
Dianne
1:56
you have your milk teeth and then then your adult teeth. Your jaws grow as you get older so you need bigger teeth to fit into the size of your mouth.
1:57
Alex if you don't brush your teeth, you will get holes in them and then toothache eventually. But it will also make your teeth loose and fall out as your gums start to lose the grip they have on your teeth and you get very bad smelling breath too
1:58
Abe you have 20 milk teeth and 32 adult teeth

What are your teeth made out of ?
Dianne

Plaque is all the debris from the food that you eat. Your salvia helps to break down any sugars in the food and the plaque then is what is left over and it likes to cling to smooth surfaces that are your teeth

Dianne
2:01
Ewan teeth are made out of a very hard material called enamel, this is a few millimetres thick then inside you have the dentine which is soft and holey like a sponge and right in the middle is the nerve which is what hurts when you have toothache
2:02
Is very unusual for teeth to turn green

Dianne

Ellie, toothpaste has something in it called fluoride. You need this to help to make the teeth strong. But you have not to have too much as it had make your tummy poorly. So it is just a pea sized ball on your brush and you need to brush for 2 mins. Millie your milk teeth are called first dentation.

What happens when you have a cavity and you don’t get a filling?
Dianne
2:08
Your teeth do different jobs the front ones are for tear your food, the back ones are for chewing up the food hope that helps. If your tooth falls out at home then it will be very small and your fingers are small, and if you feel it hurtung you stop but the dentisit can only go off what you tell them so only you can tell them that it hurts

Dianne

Alfie if you eat alot of sweets you will get lots of holes, and if you don't brush your teeth either it will all be linked and besides having holes you could get gum disease too. Frankie gums bleed when they have plaque on then and it hasn't been brushed away. Sienna you need to go to the dentist as they are teeth doctors and can make sure that your teeth are all healthy just like the doctor does with you when you have a poorly tummy say Eva we have gums to hold our teeth in just like we have skin to hold all our bones in
Millie
