I’m in a quandary. I’m in a 12 team 5x5 and I’m doing very well in pitching across the board but my hitting is a nightmare outside of runs and SBs. I have a little under 40% of my FAAB left. And yet, Max Scherzer is available. Do you bid heavy on him any anyways, or do you hold knowing you’re going to need that money elsewhere?

What I mean by hammer is that say the person with the most FAAB has $500 and the next person has $400. The person with $500 will spend $401 and be guaranteed to have Wood.
