Good morning and let's get started.

Good Morning, Ray and thanks for all the great coverage. We know Roman Wilson is a lock to make the roster because he's basically a rookie 3rd rounder. He seems to be struggling in camp some, does he look any better than guys on the bubble like Roc Taylor or Scotty Miller? Im excited for Saturday to see him play.
Ray Fittipaldo
10:55
Scotty Miller definitely has been more noticeable, more consistent. Wilson has had his moments, but he hasn't really stood out.

10:56
Ray, does Chuck Clark have a legitimate shot of beating out Thornhill or do they play different positions? I will admit I’m no expert on former Ravens’ safeties.
Ray Fittipaldo
10:57
They're similar. I think they're competing against one another because Elliott is entrenched at SS.

Ray, thank you for the chats! Has Broderick Jones looked any better in the past few days? Do you think if he looks like chewed-up bubble gum against the Swamp Kitties Sat night they look for an insurance OT on the waiver wire?
Ray Fittipaldo
10:58
Joes was better on Sunday in his 1 v 1s. He's a former No. 1 overall pick. You have to find out about him this year. Unless he's a turnstile I think they have to play him.

13,000 people at a Steelers practice. Is there another team that could possibly pull this kind of attendance for a practice?  I doubt it.
Ray Fittipaldo
10:59
Cowboys if they held their camp in Texas. I'm sure some other teams could do it too.

What is your record prediction as of today?  I'm going 13-4.
Ray Fittipaldo

10-7.

Why haven't they retired Bradshaw's number with the ceremony he deserves? Just looking at what he accomplished compared with other quarterbacks in NFL history - makes you wonder. Would hate to see them do this too late.
Ray Fittipaldo
11:01
My guess is he'd next if they do another one, but they're just not focused on that. It's Stautner, Greene and Franco. Lambert is deserving too. Maybe Ham. Perhaps that's why they're slow to officially retire numbers. There are a lot of deserving players.

Hello Ray, On one of your shows with C. Carter, you discussed the O-line in particular Broderick Jones.  You caution that it might be too early to panic over the O-line and Jones' development (they're young, give it time, etc.). Whereas others, DKovacevic for example, is urging Khan to prioritize an LT2 over a WR2.  Shouldn't a first rounder, especially one we traded up for, be, at the very least, serviceable? Perhaps we should not have let Dan Moore go in free agency?
Ray Fittipaldo
11:03
Jones has been injured and only practiced once or twice in pads last week. As I said earlier they need to find out now and the only way to do that is to play him. If he stinks then they'll turn to someone else.
Hi Ray -
11:05
Do you think is D has the best depth we’ve seen in a decade?  They are two deep at every position with guys that can play.  FS aside, they seem in great shape.  If you agree, where is the sense of urgency on the other side of the ball?  They are NOT deep at WR and OL.
Ray Fittipaldo
11:05
I don't think they're deep at DL either. They might look to add there as well after final cut-downs.
The Truth
11:05
Ray, are teams like the Ravens and Chiefs shaking in their boots with the thought of Mark Robinson lead blocking for Jonnu Smith out of the backfield?!
Ray Fittipaldo
11:07
For what it's worth, Kendrick Green was much better at FB when they experimented with that a couple of years ago. I'm not sure why more teams don't use backup guards for that role or defensive linemen like that kid from Ole MIss the Steelers were interested in for the draft -- Pegues. Robinson actually is undersized as a FB.

Ray, what do you think are the odds of making Washington a tackle like the Steelers did with Larry Brown and Villanueva who were successful moving from TE to Tackle?
Ray Fittipaldo
11:08
I'm not closing the door on it, but he would need an offseason to make the transition.

Not many dark horses on your projected 53 yesterday. Don't you get tempted to throw in a UFA   just for kicks?
Ray Fittipaldo
11:09
Not many guys in contention this year, but maybe there will be a surprise. If I had to pick one now maybe it would be Steven Jones as the 9th OL.

What's up with Frazier's snaps? Is Rodgers going to have to line up under center every play?
Ray Fittipaldo
11:12
Yeah there have been a few too many on the ground. We asked Tomlin about it in the first week of camp, and he wasn't concerned. I'm sure that will change if it continues.

Are teams allowed to offer players stipends beyond their pay? For example, housing stipends?
Ray Fittipaldo
11:12
No.
Wayne R.
11:13
Hey Ray, enjoy your work.  I’m somewhat  surprised you didn’t have Trey Sermon making the 53 man roster.  I think he’s a capable running back and would
Ray Fittipaldo
11:13
He'd be No. 4, but I don't see them carrying four RBs.
Jersey Danno
11:13
How does Breuner look? Would he have been a lock 3 or 4 years ago?
Ray Fittipaldo
11:14
He's been fine. I think it will come down to him or Mark Robinson for the No. 5 ILB. Robinson is good on special teams, but if Bruener shows he can be better then maybe they'll keep him.

11:15
Hi Ray, it seems to me that LT is the position to be most concerned about at this point in camp. What is the best option if Broderick Jones is not up.to.the task?
Ray Fittipaldo
11:15
Dylan Cook or Calvin Anderson and Anderson is hurt right now. They've also taken a look at Spencer Anderson over there. He's also the backup left guard.

Corey Trice has enticing talent but can't seem to stay healthy. Is his durability concerns going to cost him a roster spot?
Ray Fittipaldo
11:15
I think we might be getting to that point if this hamstring injury is longer term.

Which Wr2 has the best chance of signing Gabe Davis, Amari Cooper, Kennan Allen, Or trade for mclaurein/other?
Ray Fittipaldo
11:16
They need a good route runner, someone who can mesh easily with Aaron Rodgers. Among that group I'd say Cooper or Allen.
Jack
11:16
How has Jack Sawyer looked thus far in camp and do you see him getting meaningful snaps this season?
Ray Fittipaldo
11:17
He's been good and yes I think he'll have a role in the rotation. Probably 8-10 snaps a game to start because they're going to want Watt and Highsmith on the field as much as they can be.
DT
11:17
Hey Ray, hope all is well! I’m I crazy to think the offense would be in trouble if metcalf goes down for an extended amount of time? Also, which TE looks like the #1 guy?
