OK let’s get it done!! Fire away....... questions I mean!

Hi Paul.  Just wondering what you thought of the Clemente tributes here and league wide and do you think mlb will retire the Great One’s #21?  Thanks.
Zeise
12:07
I thought appropriate. I enjoyed it all. I think it is something they should do every year. He obviously is like Jackie Robinson for Puerto Ricans. I loved the big 21 in right field

Predictions on Pitt Football this season ?
Zeise
12:08
I see them at 8-3. They are really good but they do have a tough schedule
Donna
12:08
Paul, do you see any benefit of Mason Rudolph sitting down with Myles Garrett?   I don’t.
Zeise
12:09
I do if they are going to have an honest conversation and clear the air for real but I just don’t know that is going to happen. Clearly both sides believe they are right and that makes for a difficult conversation. It could be productive but I doubt it would be

Who is next in line to take Art Rooney III's place at the top of the Steelers organization? I understand that he has many years to go on the throne, but has a successor been unofficially chosen?
Zeise
12:10
Isn’t the there a younger Rooney who has risen pretty high up on the latter? I am drawing a blank but some have said he is next in line for Colbert’s job which would mean he is on the path
Celtics fan
12:11
Hey Paul, great Toronto-Boston game last night, even though my Celts lost.  I’m hoping someone will beat their archenemy Lakers. I think the Clippers may have the best chance of doing that. What do you think?
Zeise
12:12
The Celtics have their hands full right now and shouldn’t be thinking about the Lakers! And we have seen this LeBron James in the past and there isn’t anyone beating him or the  Lakers.

Super Bowl picks?
Zeise
12:13
I like the Chiefs to win it all again. And for the same reason I picked the Lakers - the Chiefs have the best player in the league and when he is on a mission he is unstoppable
12:14
Keep firing questions!!!

Hello Paul.  A shoutout and thank you to Ryan Shazier.  I think he made the right decision to retire and he did it with heartfelt love and respect for the game and the Steelers.  My best wishes to him and family as he starts a new chapter of his life.  The Steelers should also be commended for standing by him.
Zeise
12:15
Absolutely. He is going to be a success no matter what he does and where he goes
Jock Sutherland
12:36
Hard to argue chief but very hard to repeat in NFL.  James is one out 5. MaHomes is one of 22.
Zeise
12:37
Yes but Mahomes is so special and so good. Just look at number of games his team scored 31 points in a playoff game. Then compare it to guys who have been in the league for more than a decade like Ben. It is incredible - he is just unstoppable

Thanks for the chat. Give us your opinion as to why we should be encouraged to see the 2021 Pirates.
Zeise
12:41
Well I actually could see them take a step back. But they have some young players like Ke’Bryan Hayes and Cole Tucker and Jameson Taillon will be back so maybe the pitching staff will be a little better. It isn’t much but it ya reality. This team won’t start to get interesting again until 2022 or 2023. There is just a lot of rebuilding that needs to be done
Mark
12:42
Silly question time.  There is JJ Watt and TJ Watt.  Why isn't Derek DJ Watt?
Zeise
12:42
What is his middle name?
Jeff

Thank Paul for your chats and honesty.  Love how Steeler fans think we are the only ones that had a receiver do well in camp and the only ones with good additions like Ebron.  Look I think we have made all the right moves but this is football, people get injured and we are not deep in a couple key positions namely on defense.  Im sticking with the 9-7.  Let the haters hate!
Zeise
12:43
I said 8-8 or 9-7 and got hammered for it. Steelers fans love their Steelers. But I think sometimes we tend to overrate players who are here just because they are here and familiar. I just don’t see it

What do think of ACCs idea of allowing all teams in NCAA tourney this spring. Seems like a no brainer to me and great idea...though imagine seeding would be pretty interesting.
Zeise
12:45
It is one of the worst ideas I’ve heard. How do you seed it? Who pays for it? What happens with the women’s tournament? Why should every team get in? Why cheapen it? 2020 will be in the past - coming up with some gimmick in 2021 only extends the misery

12:45
Hello.  Speaking of unstoppable, what about the way Dustin Johnson is conquering almost ever course he’s been playing...and Rahm had to make a 66 foot plus putt to defeat him in sudden death.
Zeise
12:46
He is playing really well and when he is at the top of his game he is the best in the field. That’s why last week in this chat I picked him to win this past weekend and he did.....
Rahm J
12:46
So you are not exactly going out on a limb with your pick at Winged Foot, are you? Just two quick thoughts: 1) I am way overdue for a major, and 2) your boy DJ may have peaked too soon.
Zeise
12:46
Nope. I’m picking him to win again. He is playing at a different level right now

Any news on whether DeCastro will play Monday Night?
Zeise
12:47
He has already been ruled iut

Can you name 1 current Pirate you think could start for any other team and why...
Zeise
12:48
Ke’Bryan Hayes because he is a young star with a great glove
J Spieth
12:48
Did $100M in the bank by my mid twenties ruin my drive and/or killer instinct? I’ve been searching for other reasons, but keep coming up empty. Your thoughts?
Zeise
12:49
It is a hard game. That’s what it is. And I never thought you were, talent wise, in the league of the elite players and would eventually come back to earth. You did
J-town Johnny
12:49
Paul,  love the chats.  How long do you think it will take the Pirates to be contenders or do you think they will ever be contenders?
Zeise
12:50
It is going to take six years at the minimum. Baseball is a slow process. The draft isn’t instant gratification and it takes time for players to develop.
Jeff
12:50
where did you go!
