Nelson Cruz in Min - love it, ok with it, or staying away for age-related reasons?
Jeff Zimmerman
5:02
Love it. Their lineup could score a recent number of counting stats
Jim

Let's go Mariners, huh?  Gordon at $21 seemed very nice.  I trust you see JPC getting most of the SS reps, but what if any kind of AAA time do you have estimated for him?
Jeff Zimmerman
5:03
It could be an issue. That part of the draft is a mess. Dustin Pedroia was the next best choice
Taylor

Keeper league - can keep 5 max with $5 boost each year.  Which ones do I keep and why? J. Ram (36), M. Betts (36), A. Bregman (11), A. Judge (11), C. Yelich (32), E. Jimenez (6), B. Snell (12), A. Nola (11). I’ve done well.
Jeff Zimmerman
5:04
All of them because they're good and near their non-inflation values.
Nobody loves me

Who gets more PT in STL this year - Fowler or JMart?
Jeff Zimmerman
5:05
O'Niell
5:06
Fowler but I could be wrong

NL only 4x4 12 teams, if I have Minter, Hicks, and Will Smith will that be enough to compete in saves or should I try to get an established guy in the auction?
Jeff Zimmerman
5:06
I think you are good.

Thoughts on Sano?
Jeff Zimmerman
5:07
I'm out. So many things that can go wrong and DH is taken.

In a format that rewards QS as well as W, how would you rank Skaggs, Maeda, Luchessi?  Related note - know if Luchessi is just on a strict pitch count that doesn't let him get to 6 IP often, or is it a multiple time through the order/not enough pitch issues?
Jeff Zimmerman
5:08
Maeda, Skaggs, Luchessi

NL only 12 team 5x5, 30% inflation.  Our 30th year(!)  Keeping Carp 23, Marquez 10, F Vazquez 7, Soto 4, Cordero 3 (if he makes the team), J Hicks 1.   Which 2 of these you like from Hedges 6, Nelson 3, I Happ 4, Woodruff 4?
Jeff Zimmerman
5:08
None of them
5:09
I'd maybe gamble on Nelson and Woodruff
5:10
And the draft room is still waiting but Eno just brought me an glass of IPA. Score.
And it is good, called K-Lax?

you dont think Happ gets you 15/15?
Jeff Zimmerman
5:10
He has to be able to hit fastballs.

Saw Moose came in at 2B today.  1) Will they play him over Shaw at 2B?  2) If so, is moose top 5-8 2B?
Jeff Zimmerman
5:12
The plan was to play him at 2B
5:13
and I don't care for position rankings. No position scarcity has existed for years.

Jeff Zimmerman

Jeff Zimmerman
5:15
Todd Zola says yes
And so do I
5:16
The radio guys are going introductions now

How confident are you in Lo Cain performing at 2017/2018 levels again this year?  He a relative lock for .300/10/30 or is father time creeping?
Jeff Zimmerman
5:16
There are no signs of him declining so keep it going
Nick

Sorry keeper league, can keep 8 max with their prices listed. Standard $260 budget. Locks are Cain ($16), Trea Turner ($14), Baez ($12), Gallo ($11), Mondesi ($6), Suarez ($6). Options for last two spots include Kluber ($31), Marquez ($6), Freeland ($6), Castillo ($6) and Brad Hand ($11). Kluber will likely go for at least that number, and closers are expensive so Hand is a good value. Leaning Marquez and Hand and hoping to bid on Kluber for a similar price in auction. Thoughts?
Jeff Zimmerman
5:18
I would go with Hand and Kluber
Trea Turner is the first bid
