Won't be able to get to all your questions but I'll try to get to as many as I can.

Think the Cavs will make a trade like Royce O’Neale?
Dana Gauruder
11:02
The Cavs have been shopping for an upgrade at small forward for awhile. The Nets now have a glut of forwards -- it makes sense the Cavs would pursue O'Neale or any number of available SFs. O'Neale has been the Nets' steadiest player this season.

Any current rumors regarding the Pistons?   Do they make any moves?
Dana Gauruder
11:05
I think they'll move Noel if they get a decent offer and I wouldn't discount them trading Bogie or Bey if they get the right draft pick compensation. Mainly, it will be interesting to see if there's a team desperate enough to give Pistons at least one unprotected firster (and perhaps more) for Bogie. However, they've insisted for weeks they plan to keep Bogie and Burks with an eye toward a playoff push next season. The Athletic made an interesting point that they could instead cobble up some expiring deals for a solid rotation player with years left on his contract.

Is there any news of Charlotte talking with other teams/Dallas?
Dana Gauruder
11:07
I'd be very surprised if the Hornets don't move at least one rotation player. I think Washington, Plumlee, Rozier and Hayward are all on the market -- my guess is at least 2 will swap uniforms this afternoon.

If the Raptors are buyers and not sellers, is Bones Hyland or another ball handler to replace Malachi Flynn the best possible outcome for today?
Dana Gauruder
11:09
I think it's a red flag that Hyland is more interested in getting expanded playing time rather than being part of potential championship team. Only way he'd play more in Toronto is if they move FVV or Trent Jr. But I'm sure Denver would like to move him somewhere, rather than dealing with a disgruntled young player the rest of the season.

11:09
Do the bucks feel good with who they've got, or is there pressure to make a move at the deadline with all the other trades going down?
Dana Gauruder
11:09
They just made their move for Crowder -- shipping several second-rounders to the Nets in the process.

11:10
Are the Bulls more likely to add some depth pieces today, or trade one of their big 3?
Dana Gauruder
11:12
I just have to believe the Bulls will shake things up. Still under .500 at the moment. I don't know if any contender wants to go all in with LaVine and his contract but I still have to believe there's a contender out there that looks at DeRozan as a missing piece to their puzzle.
JT
11:12
Is there any chance the Lakers got D'Angelo Russell as a trade chit instead of a ROS asset, or is he too good of a shooter for me to think this? I'm thinking Gary Trent, Jr., specifically.
Dana Gauruder
11:14
The Lakers just agreed to trade Bryant to the Nuggets and got some extra second-rounders in return, so it looks as if they're continuing to wheel and deal. Not sure who else may be interested in Russell, unless it's a team trying to open up cap space for the summer by acquiring an expiring contract.
Derek
11:14
What do you believe Cam Thomas's role will be on this reshaped Nets roster?
Dana Gauruder
11:16
Got to see what they have left after the smoke clears. I would have to believe he'll get plenty of PT.
Velociraptor
11:16
What are your thoughts on Poeltl's return to Toronto? Do you see the Raptors making any more moves before the deadline?
Dana Gauruder
11:18
There has been tons of talk about Anunoby being moved, so I have to believe that's going to happen. Lots of Western contenders, in particular, want to do something with Phoenix adding Durant. The Raptors are committed to keeping Poeltl beyond this season -- they needed a center and got a pretty solid one.

If the pistons do not trade their veterans for as much draft capital while sitting as the second worst team in the league it’s bad management not to add picks for the future that could be used to draft or later trade a few years from now.  These vets are at the end of their career so there is nothing to gain by keeping them when you’ll have the cap space to replace them again next year in free agency.
Dana Gauruder
11:21
The Pistons are guaranteed of getting a high lottery pick with their record and perhaps win the VW sweepstakes. If they don't trade Bogie, Burks, etc. today, they can always be moved in the offseason if the right deal comes along. Their outlook looks a whole lot better if Cade comes back strong next season.
Wolves
11:22
Are the Wolves done? Or are they looking to trade Reid, Nowell, Prince, or McDaniels for another piece.
Dana Gauruder
11:23
I don't think the T-Wolves are done -- I see them moving Prince if they get a decent offer. Their acquisition of Conley says to me they're still hoping to make a late run.

With how many trades went down yesterday the Golden State Warriors best decision is sticking with the young trade assets since ther eis not a player out there that would make a difference this year. Agrre or disagree?
Dana Gauruder
11:25
I wouldn't say that. In fact, one of Yahoo's top reporters just tweeted that the Warriors are interested in Bey and they're willing to move Wiseman. So it looks as if the Warriors want to make some sort of a splash, too.

How many trades will we see in ur opinion between the start of the chat til the deadline?🏀.

As a long time Suns fan it breaks my heart to see Mikal traded as he is the epitome of a talented, well rounded team player on both ends of the floor. It’s clearly a win now move but I think the Suns will regret this trade in a year or two. KD is 34 and has been increasingly injured and wonder how long he can sustain his level of play. I know he is a generational talent but wonder if we gave up too much for a “chance” to win a championship in a highly competitive league.
Dana Gauruder
11:30
Good take. I'm skeptical, too. Ishbia wants to be aggressive and go all out for a championship but it's a huge gamble. You've got 2 aging vets who have missed significant time in recent seasons with injuries. The core group of KD, Paul, Ayton and Booker looks good on paper but they have to cross their fingers that they'll all be healthy at the right time. This could certainly blow up in their faces and force a major rebuild down the road.
Hawks
11:31
Why haven't the Hawks done ANYTHING?
Dana Gauruder
11:31
Collins' name has been out there for seemingly forever. I would be surprised if he's still a Hawk by the end of the deadline.

11:32
With the Nets currently in fifth place and 30 games left do they still have a chance for the play in?
Dana Gauruder
11:32
I'm sure they could still make it but they're not getting out of the first round even if they get out of the play-in.
Jeremy
11:33
Any chance we see the Pacers commit to a deeper a rebuild and trade some pieces today?
Dana Gauruder
11:36
They got involved in the Crowder deal and are waiving Goga. Big question is whether they'll move Hield -- I'm sure there's a market for him but there's a lot of wings being potentially moved today. The Pacers could be one of those teams that does most of their business in the offseason after they see how this season plays out.

With Muscala heading to Boston  does Jaylin Williams become the starting center for the Thunder?  Also what is his ceiling?
Dana Gauruder
11:39
It solidifies a rotation spot for him, at the least. Played really well vs. Lakers the other day. Long-term, the Thunder have (hopefully) a healthy Holmgren, plus another high lottery pick, so he'll have plenty of frontcourt competition.

Has there ever been a team whose roster has changed as radically as the Nets at the trade deadline? I can’t remember one.
Dana Gauruder
11:41
None that I can remember. There have been fire sales in past years but not involving 2 perennial All-Stars. And the Nets aren't through making moves.
Mavericks

could we get RJ Barrett in a 3 team trade with Toronto where the Knicks get OG?
