Have you ever come across a player that enjoys training camp?
Gerry Dulac
1:45
Not especially. Other than Mike Tomlin, and he's a coach
Matt

Gerry, I know I’m in the minority here, but watching the preseason closely last year I seen Dobbs get better and better. This year I predict he beats out Jones for top backup spot. Then Jones gets traded to Browns for pick. Your thoughts?
Gerry Dulac
1:45
You answered it correctly early -- you're in the minority
Matt
1:45
Top 3 wideouts this year, 84,19,11?
Gerry Dulac
1:45
Eventually it will be 84, 19 and 13
Matt
1:46
Who makes the roster as top 6 wideouts? Brown,JuJu,Hunter,Rodgers,Washington,Henderson?
Gerry Dulac
1:46
I'd hold off on those Eli and Qadree roster spots
Justin

How has Dobbs looked this preseason?  I know I'm in the minority, but I just don't think Jones is that good of a QB.
Gerry Dulac
1:47
Dobbs has been fine. But you are wrong about Jones. He's better than 80 percent of the backup QBs in the league

Excited to see Chickillo & Adams @ OLB tongiht. Can any of these guys see time this year?
Gerry Dulac
1:47
More eager to see Adams. We've seen Chickillo
Matt
1:47
@ CB, I see the top 5 as Haden,Burns,Hilton,Sutton,Allen? Phillips on PS?
Gerry Dulac
1:47
I like those 5

How has James Conner looked so far in your opinion? I’ve seen some positive reports about the shape he’s in, his blocking looks improved, and that he’s looked much better catching the ball. Hopefully it all translates in game action.
Gerry Dulac
1:48
Right. He looks in great shape. Eager to see him get a lot of snaps to get into a flow

Hi Gerry, greetings from Mexico. Based on what you have seen in training camp: How do you see the D performing this year compared to last year’s performance? Any stand outs so far?
Gerry Dulac
1:50
They should (and probably will) be better than they were after Shazier was injured Dec. 4. Too early for standouts but Terrell Edmunds looks like the real deal

Gerry - have you seen anything in practices regarding how the Steelers are thinking about the kickoff rule?
Gerry Dulac
1:50
Not yet
Greg

Does Rickie Fowler finally get his 1st major?
Gerry Dulac
1:50
Typical Fowler. Get off to fast start, disappear on weekend

Who are the rookies you want to see perform in   these pre-season games?  Besides the obvious ones like Washington and Rudolph?
Gerry Dulac
1:51
Edmunds. Chuks. Samuels. Ola Adeniyi.
Dan Mucy
1:51
Gerry, I'm not confident at all in the plan to use cornerbacks as linebackers.  Is there any chance it works long term?
Gerry Dulac
1:51
That's what we're going to find out Dan

Hi Gerry - If Bigger Snack McCullers doesn’t make the squad, who beats him out?
Gerry Dulac
1:52
Josh Frazier, rookie from Alabama

Is there any young player who is currently buried in the depth chart, who given an opportunity from an injury, could actually thrive on the team?  Maybe someone like LB Thomas, DB Allen, or LB Adeniyi?
Gerry Dulac
1:53
Thomas is another guy I want to see in action. Brian Allen has the physical ability to be a big surprise. But he has some young players ahead of him
Swannie

Hi Gerry - Who sees more playing time this year - K. Adams or B. Allen?  Thanks.
Gerry Dulac
1:53
Neither really, unless there are injuries. But probably Adams, if he makes the roster

As much as I love football, the preseason is horrible football to watch.  What will it take to go down to 2 preseason games?
Gerry Dulac
1:53
Congress

Any chance the Steelers bring in bowman?? The ILB core isn’t very good/deep without shazier.
Gerry Dulac
1:54
Scottie?

At 13-3 it is hard to complain as a fan, but I still will. My biggest complaint is it always seem like offensively we always got too conservative, unless we were behind.  1. Was this more from Haley, or Tomlin?  And 2. Do you think that the new OC will let the offense run wild?  Seem like we thrive in up tempo, no huddle situations, but only go to it when behind.  Thanks.
Gerry Dulac
1:55
No, he will not let them run wild. And, in case you weren't paying attention, go take a look how Ben and the offense played the last 5 or 6 games last year. It was an aerial attack.
