12 person league, no PPR, 1 keeper, auction draft: I can choose to keep McCaffrey for $66 or Godwin for $10. Who do I keep?
Zak Hanshew

Assuming a $200 budget, CMC is a no-brainer

Hey Zak, any tips for a dynasty startup auction? I've got my first one coming up and I'm unsure what strategy to take. It's a 16 team PPR league, so I expect the top players (CMC, Saquon, MT, Lamar, Mahomes, etc.) to command premiums. But I worry that overspending on those guys will leave me without depth. What's the play here? Pick a lower tier stud (like Mixon, CEH, Sanders) and spend the rest chasing bargain prices on youth and upside? Who would you target?

Hey, great question. For any dynasty startup, you want the right mix of win-now guys and guys who will be quality options for years down the road. It’s a 16-man league, so depth will be an issue for you off the bat. It’s about value here, so if you can get a top-tier stud like CMC, CEH, Thomas, Adams, D-Hop, or Saquon at a value price based on your budget, go for it! If you find that the prices are too inflated for your roster to work well overall, be conservative, pick and choose values as they are bid on, and build your team accordingly. It’s a judgement call, but you’ll know when you’re in the room. Have a great time! An auction draft is a completely new (and extremely fun) experience compared to snake.

SF Dynasty 12 Team PPR Format Question - I have a lot of depth at WR (Robinson, Beckham, Metcalf, Lamb, Reagor, Lazard, Perriman and Pittman).  I have less depth at RB3/Flex (R Jones/J Howard).   Who would be your #1 off the radar trade target at RB to improve and to supplement RB3/Flex.  I also have RB1/RB2 Sanders/Fournette as starters.  Any advice would be much appreciated.  Thank you and keep up the great work.  Love FantasyPros!

For me, it’s the other Johnson in HOU: Duke. Reports are he’ll be a little more involved this season, and if David Johnson is forced to miss time again, Duke should be the next man up. Antonio Gibson and Tarik Cohen would be good moves as well.

Thoughts on Connor

James Conner is undervalued after last season, but as long as he stays on the field, he can easily beat his current ADP. He's a nice value right now

8th pick in a standard 12-team league, drafting this weekend. Mixon's my target, but should I be scared off enough by this "minor" injury news to pivot to CEH?  Same question for the 2nd round regarding Drake's / Sanders' injuries.
Zak Hanshew

The injury news for these guys is something to keep in mind, but none of it seems serious yet. FWIW, I'd take CEH over Mixon regardless, but if you're torn between a couple of guys, injury concerns can be a good tie-breaker

Pls rank and tier in PPR league: Woods, Cupp, Ridley, McLaurin, Chark, Sutton, AJ Brown, Lockett.   Or are they all in the same tier.
Zak Hanshew
1:04
Tier 1 Ridley, Woods
Tier 2 Chark, Cupp, Lockett
Tier 3 Brown, McLaurin
Tier 4 Sutton

Sutton tier 4!! ur analysis is poppycock
Zak Hanshew

Out of that group, I'm lowest on Sutton due to the other options they have and questions about Drew Lock's success.

10 team, .5ppr league.  I get 1 keeper. Should I keep Chris Godwin for a 6th, Mark Andrews for an 8th, or Austin Ekeler for a 9th?  Thanks!
Zak Hanshew
1:09
Ekeler in the 9th is a ton of value. I'd go with him

Should tarik Cohen value go up ?
Zak Hanshew
1:10
Cohen's value should go up with Monty's recent injury, more so for the first couple weeks of the season, but he's undervalued to begin with due to his pass-catching upside

Ppr 10 team  pick 6...Wr or rb if the top 5 are taken
Zak Hanshew
1:11
Depending on which 5 (assuming 4 RB and M Thomas), you can still grab either Dalvin Cook or Alvin Kamara, so I'd take one of them

Number 2 pick.... Barkley or Elliott
Zak Hanshew

Standard - Zeke   Any form of PPR - Saquon
James

Standard scoring 10 team league i have 4th pick we have keepers someone has Henry... cook? Kamara ? Or a different way?
Zak Hanshew
1:13
Standard scoring, I'll give the edge to Cook
Haza

is Jarvis Landry a starter?
Zak Hanshew
1:14
Landry is a great fantasy option this season and always seems to be undervalued. Has gone for at least 80/900/4 last 5 seasons.

When going Zero RB method, what is the latest that you'll wait for your RB1?
Zak Hanshew
1:17
Latest I'll wait is Rd 5 - Bell, Singletary, David Johnson potentially available early in that round
Archie

PPR - How would you rank Mixon, Jacobs, Drake, Sanders & Ekeler?? Thanks!! I have the 12th pick.
Zak Hanshew
1:18
Drake, Mixon, Ekeler, Jacobs, Sanders
Shannon Brown

Hey Gents in an 8 team draft would you draft either Kittle or Kelce in the 2nd
Zak Hanshew
1:19
In an 8-team league, you can probably get one of them in the third. If you have to grab one, I'm taking Kittle. Injuries to SF receiving corps have pushed him to overall TE1 territory

Do you think David Johnson will have a big year?
Zak Hanshew
1:20
It's all dependent on his health. If he's on the field, I think he can have a big year. HOU downgraded its receiving corps and lost RB depth, so he should get all the touches he can handle. Plenty of opportunity
Alan

6th overall pick. Go CEH then Kittle or Cook and Kelce?
