Hey everyone! Welcome in! My name's Kyle Yates and I'm one of the hosts of the FantasyPros Football Podcast. We'll be spending the next hour together and talking some fantasy football! Let's get to it.
Drew (It's always Drew)

What do you do with Guice? The allegations are obviously terrible and horrifying, but talking from a stricly fantasy-perspective... Do you trade for him if you can get him on the cheap, hoping that he makes a Kareem Hunt-ish return in a year or two? I am (unfortunately) the owner of AB and I'm considering that trade straight up for Guice.
Kyle Yates
1:02
The difference between Derrius Guice and Kareem Hunt is that Hunt had been dominant in the NFL previously and had shown us what he could do when he's on the football field. Guice hasn't shown us anything substantial and he's been constantly injured. I'm willing to let him go to waivers in Dynasty leagues and let someone else deal with the headache. Could he come back eventually? Sure. But the chances of that happening are slim and I'd much rather use that roster spot for another player that could provide depth for me this season. Good question!

Hey Kyle, long time fan and thanks for all the work you do. I'm trying to shake things up a little bit in my dynasty league, but I've found it hard to move some guys. How do you deal with players that experts or fantasy players are down on in a given year? With guys like OBJ or Diggs, do you hold because you believe in the talent (hoping for the best and/or a situation change), or are you typically looking to sell before the season starts, even for a lower price relative to previous value? Thanks!
Kyle Yates
1:05
In Dynasty leagues, we need to treat players like they're stocks. Sell high on players and buy low. It's rarely ever a good time to sell low on a player or buy high, right? With these players like Diggs or OBJ, hold onto them until they have a big game. Inexperienced Dynasty players are going to chase after the big points and are going to be willing to overpay for someone in that instance. OBJ and Diggs will have big games this season. It's going to happen. Be willing to engage in trade conversations for them after those games and get max return.

In 1/2 PPR I have the 4th pick and would like Cook and Jacobs as my first 2 picks. What WR's should I consider at the 24th spot? THANKS
Kyle Yates
1:05
At that spot, you should be able to get Allen Robinson. I'd love to add him there as my WR1 and then double back with a player like Calvin Ridley or Robert Woods in the 4th. Home run start.
Bonbob
1:05
1/2 PPR would you take Mixon or Jacobs?
Kyle Yates
1:06
In a Half PPR, I'm taking Mixon. Not much more involvement in the passing game, but he doesn't have as much competition for touches in the backfield.
Paul Krzeminski

How will Lamar Miller fit in the Patriots backfield. Also is Damion Harris a better pick up later in the draft.
Kyle Yates
1:08
We ended up talking about this situation on the FP Podcast episode we just recorded this morning. I view Lamar Miller as nothing more than insurance for Sony Michel, who may start the year on the PUP. It will be a mixture of Rex Burkhead, Damien Harris, James White, and Lamar Miller to start the year. Because of that, I don't really want any player outside of taking a super late dart throw on Harris. I'm fine letting someone else deal with the potential range of outcomes though...

Hi Kyle, In a TWO QB League, who should be 1 overall? I still think CMC but Mahomes and Lamar Jackson are tempting. Also, love the pod!
Kyle Yates
1:10
Hey Kyle, great name. In a Two QB league, I personally think you need to be considering a QB at the 1.01. A Superflex league is different and I'm comfortable with drafting CMC. But with the 2QB, you're forced into starting two every single week. I want the competitive advantage and I'm willing to take Lamar or Mahomes at the 1.01. I'm fine with either one, personally. They're in the same tier for me.

How much value does Derrick Henry gain in non-PPR? Is he worth the 4th overall pick in that format? What other players receive a notable bump (or decline) in value for non-PPR? Are you guys planning on doing a podcast episode that focuses on non-PPR? It's tough to find non-PPR expert analysis these days with so many sources using either full-PPR as a baseline because of its uptick in popularity, or half-PPR as a way to split the difference. Thanks Kyle, love what you guys do!
Kyle Yates
1:13
In a Half PPR league, Henry is my RB9 heading into the season. In a Standard league, Henry moves up to RB5. Nick Chubb and Josh Jacobs also get big bumps in a Standard format. They'll receive a ton of work on the ground and should be touchdown machines this year.

Is Calvin Ridley a wr 2
Kyle Yates
1:13
Nope. He's a WR1 this year.

I have him currently at WR7. Draft him everywhere.

Hi Kyle, keep up the great work! Dynasty PPR question: I'm competing for the title and received an offer for J. Crowder (who is my W. Fuller insurance). Would you trade him against M. Williams, a 2nd and 3rd in 2021? Thanks
Kyle Yates
1:14
Good question. I don't want any piece of Mike Williams this year in this offense. In a Full PPR, Crowder's gonna be a machine this season with the unproven commodities around him with Breshad Perriman and Denzel Mims. I'd prefer the Crowder side, personally. Especially with so much uncertainty with future Dynasty rookie picks right now.

Apologies pushed send too quickly - Supeflex Dynasty Start Up Question:  I have 6 picks in the first 38 after trades.   #13, #14, #34, #36, #37, and #38.   Targeting Adams, Sanders, and Dak with the first two picks and some break RB's and Metcalf with the latter picks.  Do you have any advice (other than being fluid, allowing the draft to come to you) about how to balance QB and RB selection in the first four rounds with so many picks?
Kyle Yates
1:16
In a SF draft, I want to walk out with at least two QBs in the first four rounds. So if you're going Dak at one of those first picks, I'd be looking to take another one in that string of later picks. You can never have too many QBs in a SF league, especially this season.

What is your feel for Laviska Shenault's outllook both early and overall?
Kyle Yates
1:17
Shenault certainly has the talent and ability to be a contributor for fantasy football, but he was very low on my Dynasty Big Board due to his injury concerns. I believe he's a player that needs schemed touches to begin his career and where he can continue to develop. I'm not going near him this season and there's still the high injury risk with him.

Mostert or R Jones as RB3 or RB4 on a Dynasty Superflex team?
Kyle Yates
1:19
It depends on what you need, actually. If you need a safe RB3 each week, Mostert's probably the guy that you want. However, if you need upside at the RB position, I'd be looking at Jones. He should get off to a hot start this season, but he could very well lose this job if he misses a single blitz pickup or if Ke'Shawn Vaughn outplays him.

1:20
Which WR would you feel most comfortable as your WR1 in the 3rd round if you take CMC and A.Jones or Ekeler first 2 rounds?
Kyle Yates
1:21
Personally, I'm ecstatic that I can get Allen Robinson in the third round right now. I believe he's a safe player and has tremendous upside if this Bears offense can bounce back to even competent this season.

If you had to pick between these 3 WR's for a flex or bench spot in a Dynasty Superflex PPR League --- who would you take (Jalen Reagor, Henry Ruggs, Mecole Hardman)?  Thank you
Kyle Yates
1:22
I am probably - right now - taking Henry Ruggs. I like Reagor, but I had Ruggs as my No. 2 WR on my Dynasty Big Board. And I love that they're going to be moving him into the slot. I think he's in line for a ton of touches this season and he has the talent to make the most out of them.

Zeke or Barkley second pick?
Kyle Yates
1:22
I'm personally taking Barkley and it's not close. I think Barkley's closer to the CMC tier than a lot of people realize this season. I'm ecstatic to get him on my rosters at the 1.02 pick.
B-Rad
1:23
Im currently sitting with Barkley and Mixon as my RB1/2. Behind them I have J.Howard/Montgomery and then Bernard/D.Lewis as Handcuffs for Bark/Mixon. Would you try to package Montgomery or Howard with Adams/Evans/Cooper or Sutton for a higher end RB? Or would you stay put? Full PPR SuperFlex Dynasty
Kyle Yates
1:23
Montgomery and Howard are actually two players that I am significantly higher on than ECR. (Expert Consensus Ranking). I'd love to have those two as my depth RBs this year behind Barkley and Mixon. That's a great roster.
Drew
1:23
Are you aboard the Antonio Gibson hype train? Why or why not?
Kyle Yates
1:25
I was all aboard the Gibson train before everyone else. Hah. I'm the conductor! I had him at RB34 this entire offseason because I believe he's going to receive some work on the ground, but also head out to slot WR at times. He's a great receiver, great runner between the tackles, and is explosive as hell. I'm really excited about him this year.

Hey Kyle, there's an ugly stage in the draft where the top Rbs on board are Bell, Johnson, Conner, Carson, Ingram types. I never feel comfortable pulling the trigger on any of them. If you've got your two RBs, are you looking WR every time at this stage? Seems to be outstanding WR value in this range.
Kyle Yates
1:26
I'm right there with you. At that stage, there are (usually) guys like Calvin Ridley and Robert Woods on the board. I'm fine waiting on RB, grabbing one of those WRs, and snagging guys like David Montgomery a round later or even someone like a Tarik Cohen, Jordan Howard, Latavius Murray as depth RBs.
Jeremy

Keeping Sanders and Drake for a 5th and 7th, .5ppr. Am I crazy for eyeing CEH over Julio in round 1?
Kyle Yates
1:27
I don't think you're crazy. CEH is extremely tempting this season. However, with Sanders and Drake aboard, I'd love to have Julio on my roster. For context, I have Julio at WR2 this season.

I have the #12 pick in a ppr league. Which two players from this group would you like to have on the wrap around? Kenyan Drake, Miles Sanders, CEH, Nick Chubb, Julio Jones, Tyreek Hill, Patrick Mahomes.
