Hey everyone! Kyle Yates here and I'll be spending the next hour answering your fantasy football questions! Let's get started.

I’m a little confused on Swift vs Dobbins for Dynasty. I know that Dobbins is in the better situation but Swift was the better prospect and has less talent to compete with. I’m looking past this year so who has the better future . Swift may also have a new coach next year, would that increase or decrease his value? Thanks for the help
Kyle Yates

Great question to start off here! Dobbins landed in the better situation in Baltimore for his long-term outlook. Mark Ingram is likely going to be cut next offseason and Dobbins has the potential to be the RB1 in all of fantasy football in two to three years time. While Swift is very talented, he's on a team that doesn't provide him that long-term outlook. I'm fine with either option in Dynasty, but if you're in it for the long haul, Dobbins has a higher ceiling.

12 team Dynasty, I have the 12th pick and no 2nd rounder. Best general strategy, take the player i think will produce the most over the next couple years no matter position (Pittman, Mimms, Higgins) but I am deep at WR, or take a player at a position that I feel is a reach (RB-Vaughn or Moss) (QB- Burrows)  but those are positions that I am going to need to replace in the next couple years. I have A. Jones, Fournette, Carson and Brees at QB. but who knows how long those guys stay healthy or remain starters

This is a tough call and one that a lot of contending teams are struggling with right now. In that specific roster construction though, I'd strongly consider Joe Burrow. If Brees is your main QB, you need more depth at that position anyway and Burrow's one of the best QB prospects we've seen come out and one that I think has a very strong possibility of outscoring Drew Brees in fantasy this season. I do like Vaughn as well though, so I'd take whichever one between Vaughn and Burrow is still there on the board.

1/2 PPR Metcalf or Deebo?
Kyle Yates
1:07
I currently have DK Metcalf at WR19 and Deebo Samuel at WR39. Samuel's a fantastic WR, but this team brought in competition for targets and they're going to be a low passing volume unit again this season. Samuel would have to reach double digit touchdowns to reach the outlook that Metcalf has for this season with only Tyler Lockett as true competition for targets.

12 team Dynasty, I have both Robbie Anderson and Funchess as backups and I believe they both have pretty good upside potential. What's your opinion on these two and their current situations. I am considering moving them for rookie picks
Kyle Yates
1:10
I actually really like Robby Anderson this season. He's currently ranked as my WR29 on the season due to the likelihood that the Panthers are going to have to throw the ball a ton this season to keep up in games. Funchess certainly has potential, but I do believe that he has to pass Jace Sternberger and Allen Lazard to be second on this team in targets. If you can find someone who's willing to buy Funchess, I'd move him. However, I think you're going to get more ROI holding onto Anderson this season than you would if you were to trade him for a 3rd or 4th round rookie pick.

Hey Kyle.  What do you think of Aaron Jones this year in Re-draft?  Why doesn't he deserve to go in the first round of drafts this year?
Kyle Yates
1:14
Aaron Jones sits currently at my RB12. He falls a bit down my board due to the fact that Matt LaFleur has consistently talked about wanting to utilize multiple running backs combined with the fact that they drafted one in the second round that profiles as a goal-line back. Jones finished with a great season last year on the back of 16 rushing TDs, which is simply not going to happen again this year. AJ Dillon will take away from his carry total on the ground and Jamaal Williams will factor in through the air. Unless something happens to the other two guys at his position, Jones' upside is capped.

Bad idea to take mahomes / Lamar at the 2/3 turn in a 12 team 1 qb dynasty startup?
Kyle Yates
1:15
In a 1QB league? Yes. You're sacrificing top-tier talent at other crucial positions of need. Load up on RBs early in a 1QB Dynasty startup.

Hello,
love what you guys do.  std, 12 team dyanasty.  picked up CEH and JT in the first round of our rookie draft and also have Elliott.  would you trade elliott?  for like a first rounder and Dobbins?  or maybe Mixon and a third?
thanks
Kyle Yates

First off, congrats on walking away with both CEH and JT. That's a heck of a draft haul. To answer your question, I would not look to trade Zeke right now for a couple of reasons. One, he was just announced as having Covid-19 the other day, so you need to wait until that news blows over in order for his value to be at its highest. Additionally, this is a season that I may want to have as much depth as I possibly can. If your star player contracts Covid-19 during the NFL season, they're quarantined for two weeks and out of your starting lineups. Depth on Dynasty rosters is going to be more crucial this year than ever before. I'd be looking to hold onto Zeke for this season unless I can get players like Joe Mixon and Alvin Kamara in that deal...which isn't going to happen. :)

Is Josh Allen overrated?
Kyle Yates
1:20
Interesting question. I think he's currently rated right where he should be...people acknowledge that he struggles with accuracy and can be a bit reckless at times, but he's extremely fun to watch and makes plays. He's a great fantasy QB though due to his rushing upside, so that could be where you feel people are overrating him a bit on the actual football side, if that makes sense. I like him though.

In redraft league. Sanders or Gurley?  Woods or Ridley?  Higbee or Hurst?  Keep beating Bobby at everything.
Kyle Yates
1:22
Is this Tags' burner account?? Just kidding. I'm taking Sanders over Gurley. I'm taking Woods over Ridley, but they're WR9 and WR10 in my rankings respectively. And I'm taking Hurst over Higbee.

Who are your favorite rookies that people may not be looking at that will produce in year one?
Kyle Yates
1:25
Great question. Michael Pittman Jr. is being criminally underrated in ADP and ECR. He's a fantastic candidate to return WR30 value and he's being drafted as the WR62 last time I checked...additionally, Ke'Shawn Vaughn fits exactly what Tom Brady/Bruce Arians look for in a RB and should take over that job from Ronald Jones at some point this season. He's a fantastic addition to your fantasy football rosters later on.

Hey Kyle, what is your number 1 piece of advice for an avid fantasy player but first year dynasty owner? Startup draft is in a week or two. Big Fan!
Kyle Yates
1:28
First off, welcome to a format that you'll never be able to walk away from moving forward. It's very difficult for me to commit to playing redraft leagues now. The main thing that I mention to people starting out is to not overvalue youth and to play in a window of 2-3 years. Don't only draft rookies or second year players in your startup draft because you think that you'll hold onto them for the next 10 years. Don't be afraid to draft good veterans that can help you win right away. And have fun...:)

Who’s your to 3 potential Cheat Codes this season? Similar to Lamar Jackson and Chris Godwin last season?
Kyle Yates
1:29
Robert Woods, Calvin Ridley, and David Montgomery. All are going to vastly out produce their ADP (Average Draft Position). I'm not sure if any will finish as a top-3 option at their position, but they're going to be great contributors to your roster this season. Oh, and I'll give you one more...Jonnu Smith.

Not in a dynasty league, do Taylor, Moss, Dobbins make sense as rookie RB or we should wait down the road to see of they play?
Kyle Yates
1:31
You should never be afraid to draft rookie RBs...the only question is regarding their draft cost. Taylor's unlikely to completely steal that job away from Marlon Mack, but that offense runs the ball so much that he's going to receive a ton of work still behind one of the best offensive lines in football. Moss has a lower ceiling, but is a fine bench RB to roll in on bye weeks. And Dobbins should have some standalone fantasy value in year one, but he's a top-tier handcuff in case something happens to Mark Ingram this season. Dobbins could be a league winner for you in that situation. But it's all about who you'd be taking them over...

Hi! I’m trying to decide my last pick in a dynasty startup, half PPR. Do I take a WR like Mooney or Marquez Callaway, or a handcuff (not for my RB) like Bonnafon or Trayveon Williams?
Kyle Yates
1:33
If those are the players on the board, I'm personally looking to go with Darnell Mooney. He fits a role that the Bears need on that offense and could find his way into the starting lineup eventually. A lot of the other guys are going to have a tough time getting into their starting lineups. I only like drafting Bonnafon if I have CMC.

Where is D Henry overall in a PPR league?
Kyle Yates
1:33
I currently have Henry ranked as my RB10 in a Full PPR league.

I’m looking at a running back in the 10th round, and the dolphins seem to have incredible value there. If you’re on the clock, are you looking at Breida or Howard? PPR League of course, thanks for the feedback guys!
Kyle Yates
1:34
In a Full PPR, I might be looking at Breida. Howard's simply not going to be a factor in the passing game, but I do expect him to receive the bulk of the carries in Miami.

I have a keeper question, 12 team, PPR League.

I can keep up to two players at the cost of the round they were selected at last year. I've got the list down to four, from:

Calvin Ridley - Round 5
James Conner - Round 7
Lamar Jackson - Round 8
DK Metcalf - Round 8
Kyle Yates
1:35
If it were my roster, I'm personally keeping Calvin Ridley and Lamar Jackson with those round prices. DK Metcalf's in consideration, but Lamar in the 8th is too good to pass up.

12 team 1/2 ppr 2 qb league. Can keep 1 and honestly my best options are Rogers (who I hate), Bell, or Cooper. Haha yea I know not good. Could I keep cooper or no?
Kyle Yates
1:36
I know you hate him, but Rodgers is probably the right call in a 2QB league. Without the Superflex option, you have to have QB depth and I don't think it would be smart to let Rodgers go free.

hey Kyle! 12 teak ppr, 2 keeper league. Would you keep  Obj, kelce or lamar they don't move up a round or anything like that just everyone gets to keep2 guys?
Kyle Yates

Wow. This is tough, but I'd personally have to recommend the guys that I have finishing first in their respective positions. Travis Kelce and Lamar Jackson.

What's the deal with Aaron Jones. I've got him in my dynasty salary league. No denying his talent but will AJ Dillon and a questionable coaching staff limit him? Should I trade him? Thank you!
