10-team Dynasty, .5-ppr, 1-QB Wanted to get your thoughts on a trade I’m discussing with a leaguemate. Currently, my RBs are Le’Veon Bell, Chris Carson, James Conner & Mark Ingram, so I wanted to make an upgrade. I would be giving up Amari Cooper, Terry McLaurin & 1.08 for Joe Mixon & 1.02. Do you think this is a good trade for me?
Kyle Yates
1:02
I think this is a good move if you have depth at WR. Cooper and McLaurin are some big names, so you need to ensure that you have the depth to take that hit. But looking at your RB group, I would agree that you need to do something. Mixon’s going to be a stud next year and the 1.02 would net you either Jonathan Taylor or D’Andre Swift. It’s all dependent upon your WR depth.

Who's your favorite SUPER sleeper this year!
Kyle Yates

If we’re talking about for fantasy, I love Devin Duvernay out of Texas. He’s currently my WR9 and I think he’s going to land in a beautiful spot. Quick as a bullet, fantastic hands, and great route-runner. He’ll go in the 4th/5th round of the draft, most likely. If we’re talking about just overall, I love Darrell Taylor, the EDGE player out of Tennessee. He’s been slowly rising, but I’ve loved this kid since I put on his tape back in February. He might go even 2nd round now.

In a 12-team superflex dynasty startup, I have an offer for N’Keal Harry for a 2.02 pick... do you think Harry has what it takes to make a remarkable turnaround in his second year in New England and going forward?
Kyle Yates
1:05
I’m not opposed to the move from a surface level. The players you can get at 2.02 are looking promising, but landing spot could shift that around quite a bit. I’d honestly look to wait until after the NFL Draft to see who could still be there at 2.02 and whether or not you like them more than Harry. But I’m not opposed to moving on from Harry.

Do you see Baker Mayfield taking a step forward under the new coaching staff?
Kyle Yates
1:07
I do! I think it’s going to be different than what people think though. This Browns offense is going to focus primarily on the run game and build off of that and play action. I would expect the way Kirk Cousins played last year to be the floor with a bit higher of a ceiling due to Baker’s talent. I don’t think he’s going to be a top-5 QB for fantasy, but he’s certainly going to take a step forward. A good buy low candidate in Dynasty leagues if you need a QB.

Keeper question, Need to keep two players out of these: Zeke, Cooper, A Jones, Beckham?  Leaning Zeke and Jones but will follow your advice almost always and thanks for all the help during the year!!!!!
Kyle Yates
1:09
If you’re not keeping them at any certain round cost, I’d go with Zeke and OBJ, personally. I think Jones is going to see TD regression this next season and I wouldn’t be surprised to see the Packers draft another RB this weekend. OBJ should bounce back with the offense and after recovering from his injury.

PPR, 12 team league - My question is your opinion on using an early draft pick (1.03) on your highest need or BPA?  I have only two starting RB's (Jacobs and Drake) plus Jamaal Williams with a couple of rehabbing players behind them.  Starting WR's include Kupp, Hollywood, Marvin Jones, Anthony Miller, with some hopeful #3's beyond that. With the third pick I should have my shot at Dobbins (assuming Taylor/Swift go 1/2) or WR's Lamb and Jeudy. Needing another RB pretty badly, do I consider taking Lamb or Jeudy instead as maybe the best player available? I also have the 1.11 and 2.03 later. Your thoughts on those three rookies please and maybe what direction I should lean. Thanks.
Kyle Yates
1:10
Absolutely! So I wouldn’t be shocked if you actually see Taylor go number one and then CeeDee Lamb go at number two in your draft. People are absolutely in love with Lamb and he’s gonna go super high in your rookie drafts. That should leave you with one of those RBs there. If not, and looking at your roster, I’m not opposed to grabbing Dobbins at 1.03 and feeling good about it. Dobbins is a really good RB, so it’s not like you’re reaching super far all the way up at the top of your draft. There will be some good WR options still at those later picks you mentioned.

Choose 1 to be your RB2 in ppr. Devin Singletary, Mark Ingram, or Melvin Gordon?
Kyle Yates
1:12
It’s between Gordon and Ingram for me, personally. And I have Gordon at RB15 and Ingram at RB16 in my early projections for 2020. It’s a flip of the coin, personally. If it’s a keeper situation, I might go with Gordon just due to the fact that he’s likely to play for several more seasons. Ingram could be coming up on the end of his career.

Do you see the lions drafting a RB replacement K. Johnson!?
Kyle Yates
1:14
I absolutely do. I gave them Jonathan Taylor in my Mock Draft 5.0, which you can find on fantasypros.com or my pinned tweet on my profile at twitter.com/kyleynfl. At the top of the second round, I would not put it past them. They can't rely on Kerryon anymore, especially when they need to win this year. They'd be able to use Kerryon in passing situations, but rely on JT for the majority of the workload.

Do the packers and broncos need a backup quarterback
Kyle Yates
1:15
I would argue that both of them need a backup QB, but I don't see them taking one high. I think we're another year or two away from the Packers drafting Rodgers' replacement and Lock is still getting established as the starter. You don't want to draft a QB in the first two or three rounds that could potentially usurp Lock if he struggles.

In Dynasty, Swift or CeeDee?
Kyle Yates
1:17
I would personally go with Swift. I have Swift as my RB2 and I have CeeDee Lamb as my WR4 pre-draft.

10 team PPR.  Need a 3rd keeper (no picks attached) to go with Kamara and Dalvin....choose between Kupp or Mixon
Kyle Yates
1:18
That's super tough. I love Kupp for next year, but Mixon is going to be hard to pass up there. Letting Mixon go would be a very difficult decision for me to make, unless Burrow somehow doesn't go number one overall to Cincy, so I think I'd stock up on RBs there.
Cody
1:18
Will Dallas go defense or if judy or Ruggs fall to them and be to tempting to pass up?
Kyle Yates
1:20
If the Cowboys are smart and do a needs analysis on their roster, they'll acknowledge that they need to add another WR or two. However, there are more pressing needs on that roster than adding a WR at 17. While it would be fun, I really don't think it's the smart decision. I'd look to take K'Lavon Chaisson if he's there or potentially Kristian Fulton, EDGE and CB respectively out of LSU. Then add a WR later on like Devin Duvernay or James Proche.

Ppr, superflex, te premium 10 owner league. At 30 years of age is it time to let Travis kelce go in a trade?
Kyle Yates
1:21
This is dependent upon who you have at the TE position behind Kelce. If you have some solid options, and you can get a huge haul for Kelce, I would look to make the move. But don't just trade him for the sake of trading him...look to capitalize on his value and, if it's not there, simply hold onto him.

With more smoke then Cheech, Chong and Snoop—what are the Dolphins really going to do? What’s real? Get the 3rd and 5th for Burrow? Any chance that’s real?
Kyle Yates
1:22
Do I think it's going to happen? No. Would it be crazy fun to see it happen? Yes. At this point, I don't see Cincinnati moving off of Burrow at the 1.01. They've been spending a ton of time already running through their system with him and taking advantage of this time to get to know him. I'd love to see it though just from the chaos that would ensue.

Keeper question:  I need to choose between Mixon and Drake.  Mixon's production late was awesome but I'm worried they only ran him so much because they were going for that number 1 pick.  He also has the issue with the contract now.  Drake was also a monster but his history with the Dolphins scares the heck out of me.  I have the first two picks in our draft where I'll have Zeke, Jacobs, and Chubb to choose from so whomever I choose between Drake/MIxon will most likely end up sliding into my flex spot. PPR league.
Kyle Yates
1:24
I really don't think that Mixon is going to hold out. I think he's going to learn from Gordon's mistake and choose to play, but he's simply using what little leverage he has now to try to scare the Bengals. He doesn't have the insane production to warrant a holdout and the Bengals give in to it...Drake's going to be a monster next year, but I fully expect the Cardinals to bring in another back this draft or offseason. I'd choose Mixon, personally.

With the 1.09, 2.02, and 2.04 in my rookie dynasty super flex league what do you think my best picks would be? I have Hopkins/Cook as my top wideouts, RB’s Montgomery/Gurley/Mack, and Brees/Garappalo at QB. Where should I look to improve the most?
Kyle Yates
1:26
I'd look to shore up your entire roster, honestly. I think you have a lot of question marks across the board. At the 1.09/2.02 and 2.04, you're going to walk away with someone like Cam Akers or Clyde Edwards-Helaire if they fall. If not, Ke'Shawn Vaughn would be a solid pick. And then I'd look to address WR with players like Michael Pittman Jr. and Tee Higgins, personally.

Depending on who the Giants take at 4 do you think Tampa will trade OJ Howard to Arz to move up to 8 for a tackle.
Kyle Yates
1:28
I don't see this happening, personally. The Bucs diminished all trade value for Howard when they acquired Gronkowski. The Cardinals simply don't value the TE position, so it would be very weird to see them acquire Howard. I can certainly see the Bucs moving up for a tackle, but I don't think Howard will be involved in the trade. I wouldn't be surprised to see Howard traded for a 5th round pick.

Who are the jags projected to get?
Kyle Yates
1:29
Everyone. No, but seriously, they control the draft after Miami...they have needs all over their defense, so they could go with essentially any position and it would be a smart move. Look for them to address EDGE and CB with their first two picks in the first round if the value is there.

.5 ppr 12 team dynasty, what is you value on a saquon trade away for a rebuilding team?
Kyle Yates
1:31
Everything. Seriously, Saquon's one of the players that I consider borderline unmovable in Dynasty leagues. He's a top-3 player when he's healthy and you simply just don't move on from those players unless you get an offer you can't refuse. It'll be different for each league, but I have Saquon in one league and I would be looking for something like the 1.01 + 1.02 this year and maybe a proven player or a first round pick next year if I'm truly rebuilding.
Mike

Thanks for the advice every week! I am in a modified dynasty where you keep 12 players. I won the league so my first pick is 1.10. Given only 120 players will be off the table for draft, do you think it would be better to pick up a rookie or a veteran with my pick?
