Just lost McClain to the IL. Would you trust Davis Schneider as your everyday 2B for the playoff stretch?
Brad Johnson
1:05
Hey folks, let's jump right in.
I think he's usable, but we shouldn't expect him to continue playing out of his mind.
He'll eventually shift back to part-time too

Will Starling Marte, Kris Bryant, or Walker Buehler provide any help down the stretch.  They are in my DL spots.
Brad Johnson
1:06
Unlikely.

i made the playoffs.   Have a bye week.   Should I load up on pitchers or carry a few extra bench bats?
Brad Johnson
1:06
This is one of those "depends on opportunity costs" situations.
1:07
There isn't a "right" answer without any context.

Start 2 Start Jesse Scholtens or CWS Closer Gregory Santos
Brad Johnson
1:08
This is also highly context-dependent. What do you need? Saves or volume innings? Is it H2H playoffs, reg season, or roto?
Pete Wheeler

Could Holliday be an impact player this season if he's called up?
Brad Johnson
1:09
If he were called up, yes. I don't expect that to happen.
It's possible, especially if they have an injury that opens up a spot on their postseason roster.
Presently, he's ineligible, but there is a way around that.

What’s your favorite fantasy format?
Brad Johnson

I'm a dynasty guy. Love auctions. I like whatever scoring system I've played the least lately.

Canning, Civale and Assad.   You liking this trio in August?    Not a lot of other options in our league with August playoff format.
Brad Johnson
1:11
I have bad news...
It's September.
And yea, they're solid streamers. Civale in particular.

Is jasson Dominguez a “must add” right now?
Brad Johnson
1:12
No. Not a "must." It's an intriguing blend of power/speed though. Lot of situations where it makes sense to take a flier.

Your best fantasy playoff advice?    I have made it to the championship the past 2 years only to have some top players get rested.   What is your top advice at this time of the year?
Brad Johnson
1:14
That's a tough break. Some extra hitting depth might be in order. The trouble with H2H playoffs is there's so much luck involved. Even more than irl baseball imo.
Hope that this is the year your guys play and your rivals rest. And, short of that, use the wire aggressively.
Stash?
1:15
Do you still think the Rays bring up Junior Caminero this season or just roll with what they’ve got to fill the Wander void? I can add Caminero as a stash but don’t really have the bench spot to give.
Brad Johnson
1:16
I'm guessing they won't. But they might go with the surprise promotion in the last week and backdoor him onto the playoff roster via an injured player.
1:17
If they're planning to do it, they want to maximize his postseason effectiveness by limiting opponents' knowledge.

Even though he's a bit away from debuting, should I stash Junior Caminero in a Keeper league? What kind of player could he be once debuting?
Brad Johnson
1:18
Depends on your keeper rules. I think he'll be up most of next year, and he might be pretty special in the power department.
I sorta foresee a slow-burn start to his career, but it's hard to predict these things.

is there any chance that Skenes, Crews or Langford get a cup of coffee in the show this season?
Brad Johnson
1:19
Skenes might get a little sip. Decent chance. I don't think we'll see Langford. I don't have a read on Crews. They might give him a couple games as a reward.

Think Royals shut down Cole Ragans? Hope not, been a savior to my pitching staff.
Brad Johnson
1:20
Not really. Maybe a week or two early.
Orioles

Skenes or Carter a better Keeper?
Brad Johnson
1:21
That's tough. I think Skenes is far more impactful. Carter is trending as a solid core performer. Kind of guy you'd pick in the 8th round of a 12-team redraft.
1:22
Skenes has top 5 SP potential. But that comes with all the risks associated with pitchers. It terms of projected output, they're pretty similar. Skenes is far more likely to be special (or busted).

All this talk of calling dudes up...I thought Sept. 1 was the cut-off?
