Good afternoon, let's begin
Dino in Toledo
2:04
What is the feeling on how the D has played the last couple weeks?
Ed Bouchette
2:05
Much improved, although they gave up what would have been another losing drive that required a bailout by Ben & Co.
nugget
2:05
what is the chance of them trading for peterson?
Ed Bouchette
2:05
Blutarsky, which in Animal House speak means 0.0
Williams
2:05
Will Heath miller among the Steelers in the ring of honor
Ed Bouchette
2:06
I would expect that to happen, ultimately. You have a bunch others to get to first, but that's what will keep it going for years, there are plenty of  candidates

Hi Ed.  Do you think that L Bell can overcome a very bad mistake, on his part, re: money demands?
Ed Bouchette
2:08
I'm not sure what you mean by "overcome." Can he make up the lost money? I don't know, it only takes one team with a lot of money to do that. Can he overcome his prolonged absence and return to form this year or next? I think he can, but he's running out of time in this season to be much of a factor. It will take him a few weeks at the least, to get ready to play and then depending on how James Conner is playing, Bell may not see as much playing time

you you think the Steelers could get a CB as good as Peterson in next years draft?
Ed Bouchette
2:08
I know one thing, they can get one cheaper.

That was a solid win over a solid team, but I still think this D gives up 37+ to Pats or Chiefs in the playoffs. Any reasons for optimism that I am missing?
Ed Bouchette
2:09
There's a lot of football to be played between now and then. And as the Sunday night game between those two showed, 37 points given up does not mean you lose.
Rob Rogers
2:09
Saw a report of a dejected Artie Burns sitting alone on the bench after blowing a big play. One teammate comes over and sits next to him, trying to give encouragement. That teammate was AB84.

I know this doesn't warrant the same media coverage as a Gatorade tantrum or coach spat, but shouldn't AB be given props for being a good teammate at times?
Ed Bouchette
2:10
Isn't that what good teammates are supposed to do? You want us to cover all the planes that successfully land?
Brayden
2:10
Hey Ed! Happy Tuesday, what’s the confidence level of this team concerning Baltimore? Played impressively so far
Ed Bouchette
2:11
Maybe ask me that in two weeks when they're getting ready to play Baltimore again.
Paul Rosenberg
2:11
When a steeler gets fine - who pays the fine ?-the player or the team?
Ed Bouchette
2:11
The player. It's taken out of his paycheck.

Brown took off like a rocket when he caught the last TD.  He wasn't looking for field position, he wanted a TD. Do you think it was because of the late hit he got earlier in the game?  Revenge?
Ed Bouchette
2:13
I think you answered your own question, he was looking to score. If he did not score (with 10 seconds left), they probably would have called a timeout and had Chris Boswell line up for a field goal, which has not been as much of a given as that was last season.

2:13
Nobody is holding you to this, but if you had to predict who would win the North division after what we've seen in the first 6 weeks, who's your pick?
Ed Bouchette
2:14
Baltimore. That can change over the next 6 weeks.
Chad
2:14
Peterson is a top of the line CB with a lot of mileage left. Why would they not throw out a draft pick for him?
Ed Bouchette
2:14
Which draft pick would you like them to throw out?
KD
2:14
Do you think the steelers will trade for anyone during the trade deadline?
Ed Bouchette
2:15
Going by history, no.
Rob
2:15
Why in the world would Tomlin challenge the Switzer catch that had no chance of being overturned, then completely ignore the Conner run that looked in?
Ed Bouchette
2:16
I think the first begat the second. If he hadn't challenged the first -- and I agree that was a poor challenge -- then he might have gone for the second knowing he still had another challenge left. I also think perhaps he got too confident in the fact his offense could score a TD with a first down at the one.

2:16
Think Bell will wait now until after the trade deadline to improve his chance of retiring a Steeler?
Ed Bouchette
2:16
As I have said before, if he wants to retire a Steeler, then he should retire now.
Joe

Hi Ed, During Mike Tomlin's Post Game conference what did some ask that mad Mike say "man' I don't know what your talking about"  a couple times, he seemed to be getting mad. Thank you.
Ed Bouchette
2:17
I did not attend that post-game chat with MIke. I went straight to the locker room.
Drew

Does Conner’s success scare away teams from Bell who might wonder how much his success was largely because of the talent around him in Pittsburgh? Williams also ran well with the Steelers.
Ed Bouchette
2:17
Football scouts are supposed to be able to judge talent, not just statistics.
Joe
2:18
If/when Bell returns, can he and Conner both be effective sharing playing time?
Ed Bouchette
2:18
I don't see why not. it's happened before, even with this franchise.
Blake
2:18
What are the odds the Steelers trade up into the top half of the 1st round to get a playmaker on D? Seems like that’s where all the HoF talent is.
Ed Bouchette
2:18
If they are drafting near the bottom of the round, I would say they are not good odds
Rob
2:19
Why does Artie Burns even see the field at this point? The Bengals targeted him every time he came on. It's time to admit he's a bust.
