What impact do the trades the Indians, have done so far, have on your 2019 projections for them? As it feels not much with a good amount of salary dropped.

Not much so far. ZiPS doesn't see a lot of space between Santana and Encarnacion at this point, Alonso's projection wasn't good, and otherwise, mostly just changes the expected positions of Ramirez and Kipnis

It would have been a bigger deal if a pitcher had been traded.

It's a little tougher in that he's looking more like an average player. Which is good, of course, but it's hard to get an elite SP as the main key of a package

hear me out on this: Marlins price themselves out of all other players and fall into the Angels lap. Angels can offer a bunch of cheap 50 FV players that have a ton of team control. Fletcher, Barria are already in the bigs, Marsh and Sandoval and very close and someone like Soriano has very high upside. This gives Marlins capable players for the now and high upside for the future. No top 50's, but at this point all the teams that would have been interested are basically off the board now

I know, that's an awful answer, but let me go on.

It's usually about 15 runs of offense difference

But the average 3B doesn't gain 15 runs of defense relative to the position when moving to 1B
