Depends who you ask. Based on ZiPS projections, I still get the best predictor of salaries players get in the mid 7s.

And it's become increasingly nonlinear.

It was always *supposed* to be nonlinear, but throughout 40 years of FA, acted linear. That appears to be changing.

With the Braves making somewhat win-now moves, do you think they make a trade for Mookie, Lindor, or Marte with all their valuable assets? Would you make that move?

I don't think Lindor is traded and I suspect Betts won't be traded either due to the price.

We've heard recently that the Kris Bryant grievance might be resolved soon. It was filed back in 2015; do we know why the years-long delay ensued?

I'm not labor lawyer, but I imagine it's harder to rule on that grievance in 2015 because there's less to go on for damages?

In 2017 we Astros were by far the leaders in wRC+ at home with 136. On the road it was 3rd best at only 114. We're just more comfortable at home. That's all!
