At this time we are not measuring antibody levels on those that are vaccinated. This may change in the future based off information released in studies and guidance from public health.

Any Contraindication to receiving the vaccine for women trying to conceive?
Einstein Healthcare Network
Those who care for patients with Covid are getting the highest priority for vaccine
12:59
You must get the same vaccine for both doses. The state and Philadelphia DOH have confirmed that we will receive our 2nd doses in the coming weeks so we do not need to save any doses from the allotment that we've already received

If you initially receive the Pfizer vaccine can the follow up dose be the Moderna or does it definitely have to be Pfizer and are we saving doses of Pfizer as follow up doses for those that already received it if this has to be done.?

If we receive sufficient supply of vaccine I expect that all employees who agree to the vaccine will be vaccinated within the next 4 to 6 weeks

NY Times is reporting that the multi dose vials may contain enough vaccine for 6 or even 7 doses. Have we found this to be true at EHN?

No the CDC does not recommend doing testing for screening purposes either before or after the vaccine. As more information is published this may change and we may do serology testing for antibodies but currently there is no recommendation for any testing before or after vaccination

Will COVID prescreening be available post vaccination via nose swab if requested? From an asystommatic perspective I’m curious how are we confirming the effectiveness of the vaccination post vaccination?

Will you both be receiving the vaccine?
Einstein Healthcare Network
We will be wrapping up in five minutes.
Yes, the vaccine, at least in the short term provides immunity to the virus. We do not yet know how long this immunity lasts
12:55
At this time we are only vaccinating Einstein staff. Spouses, children, relatives will be vaccinated as vaccine supplies increase in the coming months.

Does this vaccine offer immunity to the virus?

The trials in children are currently underway. Many vaccine trials such as these start with adults and then move backwards to younger children. So we should have information about kids in the 11-15 age range in the coming months

Is there any information with regards to the vaccine and administering to children?

There is no good answer to your question. That said, I recommend that you eat and are well hydrated before your vaccine in the event you may have a reaction

Are there any diet recommendations or best practices that should be adhered to before and after taking the virus?
Follow up question: I currently fast for 24-72 hours for Authophagy and want to know if it’s okay to fast prior to taking the vaccine or if I should eat before hand.

12:53
None of those are ingredients in the vaccine so the current guidance from the FDA is that it is safe to get the vaccine.

There is not much information at this time for co-administering the COVID vaccine with other vaccines. The current recommendation from CDC is to wait 2 weeks before and after to get any other vaccines.

The main side effects of the vaccine will be after the second dose and include muscle aches and pains, headache and possibly fever. There have been rare severe allergic reactions that occur within 15 minutes of the vaccine. We are prepared to treat those reactions at the vaccine site

Yes after having reviewed the literature and information I have signed up for the vaccine and am awaiting my priority group
